The Music Of David Lynch - Benefiting The David Lynch Foundation

David Keith Lynch (January 20, 1946 – January 15, 2025) was an American filmmaker, visual artist, musician, and actor. Often called a "visionary" and acclaimed for films distinguished by their surrealist and experimental qualities, Lynch is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. The documentary celebrates the inter-generational and interracial musical influence of Memphis in the face of pervasive discrimination and segregation. The film brings multiple generations of award-winning Memphis and Mississippi Delta musicians together, following them through the creative process of recording a historic new album, to re-imagine the utopia of racial, gender and generational collaboration of Memphis in its heyday. Heavy Metal (Music From The Motion Picture) The Soundtrack & The Score

Heavy Metal is a 1981 Canadian adult animated science fantasy anthology film directed by Gerald Potterton (in his director debut) and produced by Ivan Reitman and Leonard Mogel, who also was the publisher of Heavy Metal magazine, which was the basis for the film. It starred the voices of Rodger Bumpass, Jackie Burroughs, John Candy, Joe Flaherty, Don Francks, Martin Lavut, Marilyn Lightstone, Eugene Levy, Alice Playten, Harold Ramis, Percy Rodriguez, Susan Roman, Richard Romanus, August Schellenberg, John Vernon, and Zal Yanovsky.

The film is an anthology of various science-fiction and fantasy stories tied together by a single theme of an evil force that is "the sum of all evils". It was adapted from Heavy Metal magazine and original stories in the same spirit. Like the magazine, the film features a great deal of graphic violence, sexuality, and nudity. Henry Mancini – The Jazz Sound From Peter Gunn

Henry Mancini – The Jazz Sound From Peter Gunn (Music Composed By Henry Mancini Arranged By Maxwell Davis, Pete Candoli & Bob Florence From The TV Series Peter Gunn)

Peter Gunn is an American private eye television series, starring Craig Stevens as Peter Gunn with Lola Albright as his girlfriend, lounge singer Edie Hart. The series was broadcast by NBC from September 22, 1958, to 1960 and by ABC in 1960–61. The series was created by Blake Edwards, who, on occasion, was also writer (for 39 episodes) and director (for nine episodes).

According to Vincent Terrace, Peter Gunn was the first detective series whose character was created especially for television, instead of adapted from other media.

The series is probably best remembered today for its music, including the iconic "Peter Gunn Theme", which was nominated for an Emmy Award and two Grammys for Henry Mancini. Subsequently it has been performed and recorded by many jazz, rock and blues musicians. The progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer recorded the song, adding synthesizers. The series was number 17 in the Nielsen ratings for the 1958–59 TV season and number 29 for the 1960–61 TV season.

Welcome To Woop Woop (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - various artists

Welcome to Woop Woop is a 1997 Australian screwball comedy film directed by Stephan Elliott and starring Johnathon Schaech and Rod Taylor. The film was based on the novel The Dead Heart by Douglas Kennedy. "Woop Woop" is an Australian colloquialism referring to an inexact and extremely rustic and uncivilized location, usually in rural or remote Australia. Equivalent terms include "the boondocks" and "out in the sticks" in American English or "the back of beyond" in British English.

The film centres on an American traveller in Australia who is abducted and held captive in a dystopian cult. Similarly to the extremely over the top way the Coen Brothers' film Fargo, and its spin-off TV series mocks stereotypes about the culture of Minnesota, Welcome to Woop Woop's characters are wildly exaggerated and parodied stereotypes of Anglo-Australian Bogans from Outback desert communities.
