65daysofstatic – No Man’s Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe (video game soundtrack)
No Man's Sky is an action-adventure survival game developed and published by Hello Games. The game is built around four pillars: exploration, survival, combat, and trading. Players can engage with the entirety of a procedurally generated deterministic open world universe, which includes over 18 quintillion planets.
The game's first soundtrack, No Man's Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe by 65daysofstatic, was released on 5 August 2016, and received positive reviews from music critics. The first 10 tracks of the album were composed by 65daysofstatic specifically for No Man's Sky and its planned OST. These tracks, along with other recording snippets, were then sampled/disassembled for use by the in-game procedural music engine. The final 6 tracks, on the other hand, are tracks generated by the procedural music engine that were then selected for inclusion in the album.
Andrew Webster of The Verge described the soundtrack as an extension of past 65daysofstatic albums, particularly from Wild Light, but with a greater science-fiction vibe to it, considering the track "Asimov" to be like "taking flight into a Chris Foss painting". Sam Walker-Smart for Clash rated the album 8 out of 10, considered the album one of 65daysofstatic's best, and that it was "apocalyptic, transcendental and drenched in a sense of pure epic-ness"

Cowboy Bebop - original soundtracks series - music by Yoko Kanno & The Seatbelts
Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese neo-noir space Western anime television series that aired on TV Tokyo and Wowow from 1998 to 1999. The series, which ran for twenty-six episodes (dubbed "sessions"), is set in the year 2071, and follows the lives of a traveling bounty-hunting crew aboard a spaceship, the Bebop. Although it incorporates a wide variety of genres, the series draws most heavily from science fiction, Western, and noir films. It explores themes such as existential boredom, loneliness, and the inability to escape one's past.
The music for Cowboy Bebop was composed by Yoko Kanno and primarily comprises jazz, along with western and opera. Kanno formed the blues and jazz band Seatbelts to perform the music. According to Kanno, the music was one of the first aspects to begin production, before most of the characters, story, or animation had been finalized.

Luis Borda, Sexteto Mayor, Gerd Baumann – Our Last Tango (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) A Film By German Kral
"Our Last Tango" (2015) is a story of love between the two most famous dancers in tango's history. And the story of their tremendous love of tango. María Nieves Rego (81) and Juan Carlos Copes (84) met when they were 14 and 17, and they danced together for nearly fifty years. In all those years they loved and hated each other and went through several painful separations, but always got back together. Now, Juan and María are willing to open up about their love, their hatred, and their passion. In Our Last Tango Juan and María tell their story to a group of young tango dancers and choreographers from Buenos Aires, who transform the most beautiful, moving and dramatic moments of Juan and Maria's lives into incredible tango-choreographies. These beautifully-shot choreographies compliment the soul-searching interviews and documentary moments of the film to make this an unforgettable journey into the heart of the tango.

Tom Waits And Crystal Gayle – One From The Heart (Music From The Motion Picture, 1982) remastered edition/bonus tracks
One From the Heart is a 1982 American musical romantic drama film co-written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Starring Frederic Forrest, Teri Garr, Raúl Juliá, Nastassja Kinski, Lainie Kazan, and Harry Dean Stanton, the film follows a couple in Las Vegas who separate on their anniversary and embark on new romances over the course of a single night.
Unlike traditional musicals where characters sing their own emotions and convey plot information through song, the narrative of One From the Heart is accompanied by a soundtrack composed by Tom Waits and performed by Waits and Crystal Gayle. The non-diegetic music functions as an external commentary on the story rather than being sung by the characters themselves.
The soundtrack was nominated for an Academy Award for Original Music Score.

Lorne Balfe – Ghost In The Shell (2017)
Ghost in the Shell is a 2017 cyberpunk action film directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Jamie Moss, William Wheeler and Ehren Kruger. It is the first live-action movie based on the Japanese Ghost in the Shell franchise envisioned by Masamune Shirow. It stars Scarlett Johansson, Takeshi Kitano, Michael Pitt, Pilou Asbæk, Chin Han and Juliette Binoche. Set in a near future when the line between humans and robots is blurring, the story follows Major Mira Killian (Johansson), a cyborg super-soldier who investigates her past.
The soundtrack music composed by Lorne Balfe is an electronic, themed score that is reminiscent of movies like Blade Runner and Tron. It's very "sci-fi" with dramatic beats and soundscapes that suit the story line of the film and add the necessary background. It has never been released commercially and has only been available in digital format.

Down The Deep Dark Web (documentary) - original motion picture soundtrack - music by Frank Ilfman
Released in 2016, Down The Deep Dark Web has been described as a Gonzo-style exploration that goes beyond everything you thought you knew about the dangers, and promise, of the Darknet. Hackers, Cypherpunks and crypto-anarchists guide us ever deeper down this rabbit hole, uncovering the hidden light at the bottom of the deep, dark web. It reverses everything you thought you knew about the internet and the dangers of the digital world.
The soundtrack music is composed by Frank Ilfman, a highly talented composer whose music has been captivating audiences for years. With a background in classical music and a deep passion for electronics, Frank creates compositions that are both technically sophisticated and emotionally charged. His music has been described as a blend of new classical and emotional, lush soundscapes that transport listeners to another world.
This score is very electronic with downtempo beats combined with classical themes that make it highly listenable as a stand alone album from the documentary.

Romeo Must Die (The Album) 2000 - various artists soundtrack
Romeo Must Die is a 2000 American action film directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak in his directorial debut, and features fight choreography by Corey Yuen. The film stars Jet Li, Aaliyah (in her film debut), Isaiah Washington, Russell Wong, DMX, and Delroy Lindo. The film marks Aaliyah's only film that was released during her lifetime, before she was killed in a plane crash one year later on August 25, 2001. The plot is loosely related to William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, transplanted to contemporary Oakland with Black-American and Chinese-American gangs representing the feuding families.
Romeo Must Die: The Album soundtrack is composed of hip hop, funk and R&B music. It was released on March 14, 2000 through Blackground Records and Virgin Records in association with Warner Bros. Records (who helped co-financed the soundtrack). Recording sessions took time between May 1999 and January 2000. It features contributions from Aaliyah, who appears on fours songs, as well as B.G., Chanté Moore, Dave Hollister, Destiny's Child, Ginuwine, Joe, Lil' Mo, Mack 10, Playa, Stanley Clarke, The Comrads and more.
In the United States, the soundtrack debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart selling 203,000 in its first week. It was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on May 2, 2000 for selling a million copies. The album sold 1.3 million copies by the end of 2000. By 2001 the album sold 1.5 million copies domestically and over 2 million copies internationally.
